The novella “The House On Mango Street” by Sandra Cisneros is about a girl named Esperanza who is insecure at the beginning of the novella, but then gained confidence and maturity as the novella progresses. Esperanza lives in the Barrio of Chicago, her surroundings and who she is are the reason she is insecure especially her home, it is not the home she wanted, she is ashamed of it as well, as her surroundings like Sally and Alicia, her neighborhood, and much more. However, at the end she overcome it thanks to hem, continued to write and manage to escape Mango Street.

His tribe then frown upon him and was hated, although he survived in Reardan and became popular and got a hot girlfriend even, it, also went in a bad direction. His only and best friend Rowdy hate him, his grandma and sister dies, so he blamed it all on him leaving the reservation and going to Reardan. But, it all ends well because he made up with his best friend Rowdy, although his grandma and sister is still gone..

The book "The Art of Racing in the Rain" By Garth Stein is a life perspective of a dog named, Enzo. Enzo is a dog who enjoy watching racing, car racing to be exact, with none other than his owner and best friend Denny, who happens to be a race car driver. Along the way,Denny met a woman in the name of Eve, fell in love got married and had a daughter named, Zoe. They were a happy family but sadly faced many challenges in their life, which includes Eve death by cancer, Denny sued for custody of Zoe and case of being a child molester. Throughout the book Enzo uses racing as an analogy for life challenges that him and Denny was facing.
